History
After seeing countless young adult and single services spring up and then die within individual local churches, it was evident to several local pastors that no one particular church would be able to reach young adults and singles as effectively as several local churches coming together as ONE.
Therefore, CharlotteONE began as a 4-week “trial” in May of 2006 by to see if young adults and singles would respond to this unified vision…and respond they did.
When the doors opened for the first time, 300 young adults and singles from different denominations and religious backgrounds caught the vision and the power of CharlotteONE. Attendance increased every night with the last night seeing 400+ come together as ONE to worship ONE God with ONE voice.
Today, with over 25 local churches on board, CharlotteONE currently meets in Uptown Charlotte and attracts between 500-600 young adults each Tuesday night.
In light of the undeniable need and the unbelievable response from the young adult and single community for a unified worship gathering across denominational lines, it is clear that God is forming a new gathering in Charlotte for a new generation…the generation of ONE.
